The North Ayrshire branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society was formed in 1948. Our aim is to promote Scottish Country Dancing and its music within the North Ayrshire area.

If you haven’t tried Scottish Country Dancing or haven’t danced for a while, come and join us. You will be made very welcome.

The Branch runs dances and events throughout the year. For more information please see the events page for dates and venues.

For tickets to our dances please contact Trish Lorraine.

The New Year Ball at The Seamill Hydro requires tickets to be ordered in advance of the event.

Alistair Aitkenhead

Alistair was a founder member of North Ayrshire Branch and we would like to remember him at our 70th Anniversary Ball in January 2018. We thought it would be a fitting tribute to compile a collection of photos and anecdotes recording his contribution to the North Ayrshire branch.

If members have photos or anecdotes that they would like to share, please send them to the secretary, Deirdre Wright: email: .
